On Truth

Ancient texts lack references.
Perhaps, because they proffer truth.
Unchanging, eternal, universal truth.

When we experience truth, it’s unforgettable.
Truth stills, buckles our knees.
Truth silences, re-directs, even permanently.
III
If you were to speak truth, and live your truth, how would it alter your encounters?
And, if you were to speak truth, and live your truth, may you become a “pen in the hand of God”?
