How others are,
has little to do with you,

The optimist finds your idea precious,
the same way they would another’s,
the same way they do theirs,

The perfectionist demands your exactness,
the same way they would from another,
the same way they do of themselves,

The person who is harsh with you,
is harsh with another,
is harsh with themselves,

How they treat you,
reveals their conditioning and maturity,

Observe them,
you may recognize yourself in them.
